Problems with Plugins

I spent a good portion of last evening trying to get the Word Press plugin “Subscribe to Comments 2.1″ to work on my machine. For some reason when a comment is left the system crashes and I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: attribute_escape() in / mnt/ w0402/d17/s13/b02a6fe5/ www/ lewisempire.com/ wp-content/ plugins/ subscribe-to-comments.php on line 762

I have made some inquiries about this plugin to the developer and will be waiting for the response. In the mean time I have a great friend (also a great developer) who is going to give me a hand with installing this plugin. At least it’s not crucial to the operation of the site!
