Problems with WP 2.2.1 - solved!

I am having trouble with the blog tonight because I updated to WP 2.2.1. I’ll let you know when I’m up to full capacity.

I’m back online! I had some major problems with the permalinks within my site. Everything still showed up on all the pages but it wouldn’t show comments, about or anything else. It was only showing me the index page.

I owe my sanity and hours with some tech support to boren.nu. He posted a work around (as it turns out I was having trouble with my host’s mod_rewrite.) It’s great to be able to type anything into a search engine and have 1,000,000 results for your problem!

As a result of my upgrade from WP 2.0 to 2.2.1 I am now able to show the nested comments and can email a reply to any posted comments. I look forward to reading your messages!

Thanks for the comment Vijay. Yes I do have moderation on right now. I’m looking for easier ways to allow comments without the risk of spam. I’ve got Akismet running now.
