Others call it insomnia. ;-) Great post. Another thing that can be helpful is to take a few moments to reflect after you get emotional about something that happened. For example, a couple years ago, I had an online customer get upset over something I considered (and a good number of people consider) very minor. It was something that's a standard thing to do, but ticked off this guy. In turn, that upset me, and I was very tempted to respond, in kind, to his eMail. Instead, I took a few moments to think about it, and decided to view it as a challenge. In the end, I wound up getting another order from this customer.
